1st Ever Hunt

Brass keyhole plate thing?
Joined a friend who goes by the name 'Mr Miyagi' today to try out my near-brand spanking metal detector on a bit of pasture that has in the past thrown up a few coins here and there after my back garden had yielded a decimal half pence and a modern 1 pence coins.

Can't say I was expecting much but I did come home with a bit more than my back garden had produced.

3x half pennies, a badly worn threepenny bit, six pence, brass keyhole decoration and a copper button.

3 ship half pennies and young Victoria silver sixpence
(Dates 1938, 1941, 1914 and 18??)

On the downside, the folding spade Mr Miyagi had donated me, wasn't up to my heavy handed digging technique, it shattered bellow the handle.
